These terms govern access to Codanta, a personal code snippet management service for saving, organizing, previewing, and reusing development content.
Effective date: 03 April 2026
Codanta is provided as a hosted software service for managing code snippets, notes, commands, templates, and related developer content.
The service is intended for lawful business or personal development use. You are responsible for how you use the platform and for the material you store in it.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity performed through your account.
You must provide accurate account information and keep it current. You may not attempt to access another user's data or interfere with the security of the service.
You may not use Codanta to store, transmit, or organize unlawful, infringing, malicious, deceptive, or abusive material.
You may not use the service to distribute malware, attack systems, scrape protected data, or bypass access controls.
You retain ownership of the content you submit to Codanta. You grant the service only the limited rights necessary to host, process, back up, and display that content for account functionality.
You are responsible for ensuring that the content you store does not violate applicable law, contractual obligations, or third-party rights.
The operator may update, maintain, suspend, or improve the service from time to time. Reasonable efforts may be made to preserve availability, but uninterrupted service is not guaranteed.
Security controls, rate limits, content protections, and abuse-prevention measures may be applied where necessary to protect the service and its users.
You may stop using the service at any time. The operator may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated, if the service is abused, or if continued access creates operational or legal risk.
Deleting an account may remove associated snippets, categories, tags, sessions, and related application data.
Codanta is provided on an as-available and as-is basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or data-loss damages arising from use of the service.
These terms may be updated to reflect operational, legal, or product changes. Continued use of the service after an updated effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
